GATTIS, FLOYD - age 57 of Oak Ridge, MEREDITH, ARNOLD CLAY - age 87, of LaFollette, RASNIC, B. TODD - age 30 of Knoxville ARTHUR, KELLY J. - age 84, of LaFollette, passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 at St. Mary's of Campbell Co. He attended Charity Worship Center. Preceded in death by infant son: Ronnie, parents: Jesse and Mary Poore Grant, and brother: Billy Grant. He was a caring family father and served in the CCC as a young man. Survivors: Wife: Jessie T. Arthur; Daughter & Son-in-law: Mary Lee & Alex Wyatt, Cincinnati, Ohio; Grandchildren: Nancy & Husband James Huber, Mark Wyatt; Great-Grandchildren: Joseph Dick, Brandon & Sarah Huber; Sister: Naomi Grunder, Bull Heat City, Arizona; Nieces & Nephews: David Arthur, Kelly Grunder, Becky Ford & David Grant. Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Cross Chapel Rev. Harry James, Rev. Leon Fritts officiating. Interment: 11:00, Monday, Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cross Funeral Home AULTOM, REV. DAVID L. - born April September 20, 1928, age 75, of Alcoa passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of Ballard's Chapel Baptist Church and pastored at Emanuel Baptist Church in Anderson County, Piney Level Baptist Church in Blount County, Riverview Baptist Church in Rockford, Ballard's Chapel Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church in Loudon County, and Village Baptist Church in Blount County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean C. Aultom; grandson, Christopher Brown; and parents, Daniel P. and Minnie Hatcher Aulton. Rev. Aultom is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Terry Hicks of Maryville, Becky and Paul Gentry of Maryville, Vicky and Mike Hammontree of Greenback, and Kimberly White of Maryville; sons and daughters in law, Joe and Ginger Aultom of Alcoa, Tim Aultom of Michigan, and John and Jackie Aultom of Knoxville; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Trula Duggan of Powell, Helen Cline of Kodak, Imogene West of Strawberry Plains; sister in law and husband, Elsie and Jack Wilkerson of Powell, June and Larry Simpson of Maine, Birdie Hawkins of Powell; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Pall bearers will be the grandsons and Ed Hicks. Honorary pall bearer will be Jack Keeble. Funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Monday, March 22, 2004 at Ballard's Chapel Baptist Church; Rev. Jerry Vittatoe, Rev. Ronnie White, and Rev Scott White officiating. Interment service will be held immediately following the funeral service at Ballard's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at the family home (548 East Cunningham St., Alcoa) where friends may call at their convenience from 6:00 pm Saturday until 1:00 PM Monday. GATTIS, FLOYD - age 57 of Oak Ridge, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004 in Atlanta. A member of Marble City Baptist Church, he was a Compliance Officer with OSHA. Mr. Gattis is survived by his wife, Betty Gattis; son and daughter in law Gary Gattis and wife Marty; brothers Lloyd and Richard Gattis; sister Tina Biggs; three grandsons David Willis, Brian Willis and Bobby Willis; great-granddaughter Katie Willis, all of Knoxville. The family will receive friends at the Highland Memorial Chapel Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. with the funeral to follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. George Williams. The family and friends will assemble at Highland Memorial Chapel on Monday by 1:00 p.m. to go in procession to Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a 1:30 p.m. graveside service, Volunteer State Honor Guard providing military rites. He was a member of First Independent Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Parents: Henry Clay & Cora Cooper Meredith, Daughter: Judith Ann Meredith, Brothers: Raymond, Woodrow, & Clayton Meredith. Sisters: Lorene Meredith Myers, Colleen Meredith Myers, Margaret Bernice Meredith. He loved his family & his church. He was a lifetime farmer who loved to give others his harvest. Survivors: Wife of 62 years: Bea Queener Meredith, LaFollette; son & Daughter- in-law: David Arnold & Wanda Meredith ;Daughter & Son-in-law: Debi & Mike Malicote, all of LaFollette; Grandchildren: Meredith & Jacob Finstad, LaFollette, Michael Clay Malicote & Finance' Amber Albertini, LaFollette, David Arnold Meredith II, LaFollette & Fiancé, M. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home. RASNIC, B. TODD - age 30 of Knoxville passed away Friday March 19, 2004. He was a Security Police Officer at Y-12 Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by father William Rasnic. Survivors: wife: Christel Rasnic; daughters: Mallory and Emily Rasnic; mother: Mary Jane Rasnic; sister: April Scott. The body was cremated.
