From the Knoxville News Sentinel 8 Apr 2004 ALBERT, FLORENCE - age 80, of Caryville (Vasper Community) passed away Tuesday, April 6th at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a member of Vasper Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at Oak Ridge during WWII. She was preceded in death by husband, Earl Albert; parents, Guy & Hattie Disney; grandson, Andrew Albert; brothers, Howard, William & Charles Disney. Survivors: daughter, Barbara Albert of Jacksboro; sons, Ronnie Albert of Knoxville, Kerry Albert & wife, Pauline, of Caryville, Mike Albert of Caryville; grandchildren, Anthony & David Nirmaier, Mark Albert, & Kathy Albert & fiancé, Murtaz Basharat; great-grandchildren, Sean, Jessica, Alison & David Nirmaier, Jr. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 8th from 6 to 8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Kenny Gillum officiating. Interment will be Friday, April 9th at 2:00 PM in the Vasper Cemetery.
