I think he was a Baptist minster. He died before 1938 could be buried in Whitley Co., KY no headstone.

    1. Re: [TNCAMPBE] Searching the Tennessee Marriage Records
    2. If you want to browse the records, you can search by month and year. If you have names, you can search by name -- one or both and by the county. Example, I searched by the husband's name only even though I knew the wife's name. I was able to find what I was looking for then, because they had the spelling of the wife's last name wrong (from what I had, anyway). I, also, have found this invaluable as I found ancestors in a county I didn't know they were in. I just had names but no dates or places. Now I have a place to look for them! I did notice that Knox Co. has all the older years, but is very sporadic for the years after 1900. ______________________________________ In a message dated 5/4/2008 1:57:12 P.M. 3. Angela, This is very sweet of you to allow those of us who do not have Ancestry to request of you. I've been trying for quite some time to determine a marriage for Martha Caroline BROCK. I am not certain as to the year, although I know for sure it was after 1904 because her first marriage was on December 25, 1903 to James E. Allen. Her second husband was affectionately known as "Wild Bill" Henry. If you could find anything for me (would have been Campbell County, TN), I'd certainly appreciate it. "Caroline", to the family, was born in 1889. Believe it or not, she apparently died while "taking care of business in the outhouse" ~ family assumes of an apparent heart attack. But she was supposedly very young when this happened. Strange ...
