Hello, I am researching John B. Orick who married Martha Burchill 10 May 1847 in Campbell County TN. I believe this family lived in the Well Spring area. I also think John Orick was married a second time to Catherine Lumpkins. I would like to correspond to any one researching these lines as well. Thanks, Leigh Ann (Partin) Boyd LPartin@aol.com

His wife was Sarah Prater who had died in 1927. I need a death date for him and was wondering if he could have been buried at Davis Chapel Cemetery?? Sarah and John had twins Dora and Doshie born Nov 1897. Dora apparently married a Wilkensen or Wilkerson after 1920 but she was a widow by 1930 and lived with her father John in 1930. There was also a son: John Henry Comer b. 1900 in March (and may have died in June 1970 in Claiborne Co.); a son named Benjamin F. (b. April 1909 and died *I think* in April 1980) and another son named William W. A daughter Mae who was born in 1905 may have died before 1920. The main mystery I'm trying to crack is Sarah Prater apparently had married an E. M. Riggs in 1891 (marriage record). Who was E. M. Riggs??? She shows up in the 1900 census married to John Comer (they married in 1897). In the 1910 census, Sarah stated she'd been married twice (John said only once) and there's a son named James who was 16 in her household. This James was found in the household of Sarah's grandparents in 1900 (age 5 b. Oct 1895) and was listed as James R. Prater. In 1910 he was listed as James Comer. I lose track of this James in the 1920. He either died or perhaps took his father's last name maybe?? Anyway, any info would be deeply appreciated. I have an old photograph that belonged to my grandmother, Vivian Jarmon, Briceville. I believe she bought it at a yard sale for $1, which is listed on the back, for the frame. There is writing on the back in pencil with the predominant name being that of Mary Dykes, Briceville. Also mentioned are Ms. Minnie Vowell, Back Mountain, Briceville, (is this Vowell mountain?), the date of 1902. Also written is the name of Luther Ward. The photo, which is quite crackled, depicts 8 men and a little boy. There is a .....Brothers written on it, but I can't make it out. I could scan it in if anyone is interested. Also, is anyone working on the Anderson County TNGEN website? There are numerous broken links, etc. Angela
