The East Tennessee Historical Society is adding the first of a new series of pages to its website. Tonight we have added the first part of a new page highlighting some of the most frequently asked questions about the First Families of Tennessee program. The new page located at http://www.korrnet.org/eths/fftfaq.htm currently includes descriptions of the types of sources and documents most commonly used in proving membership eligibility in the First Families of Tennessee program, as well as links and snail mail addresses for various offices such as the Tennessee Department of Health's Office of Vital Records. Additional information will be added regularly in order to assist people researching their membership eligibility for the East Tennessee Historical Society's First Families of Tennessee heritage program. We hope this information is helpful to you. Sincerely, Shane S. Rhyne, Public Relations Coordinator East Tennessee Historical Society P.O.
