My gt.grandparents, Abraham and Mary Ann LONDON YORK, are buried in the cemetery of the Bethel Methodist Church. I thought maybe some of you who have lived in Bradley Co. all your lives might know whether or not records from that now defunct church still exist. I called the archivist of the Holston Conference, who is at Emory and Henry Univ. in VA. She was not able to find any information on the church. She suggested that possibly another church was formed when Bethel closed (anyone know when that was?) and that the records might be at that church.
