    3. Sherry, Thanks for your reply. Good possibility that Mr. PARKS was A. J. instead of A. H. So far, the only things that I know for certain are: 1. My g-grandmother was Mary PARKS (b. Aug. 24, 1857 d. Nov 28, 1890), married David G. COOPER Sept. 3, 1868 (source, bible records and Bradley Co. marriage records). 2. Mary's brother was Henry PARKS. Henry fought in the civil war with David Cooper. In David's pension documents, Henry is mentioned as being Mary's brother. >From the above info, I examined the 1850 census and found Henry listed in A. H. PARKS household. Searching for A. H. PARKS in 1860 & 70 census came up empty. 1880 census lists David COOPER at dwelling 405, Henry PARKS at dwelling 406. Thanks for the offer to check the 1860 and 1870 census. Looking forward to matching up birthdates etc. (yes, I know census takers made mistakes here too ... but any clue is worth checking).
