Hello, My husbands great-grandfather was a Baptist minister in Turkey Hollow. I discovered today that is was 6 to 8 miles outside Chattanooga, Tennessee. (They came to Texas abt 1894). Does anyone know who has the records from that church that might shed some light on this line. John R. McDowell born abt 1850 either TN or NC. married Martha L. Collins abt 1867 Bradley County, TN. Would appreciate any information of him.
