Then in 1870 Wilson was married to Sarah and living in Meig's Co., TN. Sarah and Wilson were back in Bradley Co., Tennessee in the 1880 Census. Tresa's maiden name may be Wetson. Burial in Beason's Cemetery. John was buried 18 years to the day his great-granddaughter Barbara Lynn Thomas was born in 1949. Emily may have only been married to John for a very short time and they had a daughter Margaret that was listed as a step-daughter to John's second wife Sarah. Sarah died at her home 5 p.m. on Monday in North Chattanooga, She has her husband, John and seven sons, three daughters surviving. Also a step-daughter Maggie Cox. Sarah died of Cancer of the Uterus with Metastases. Ironic Sarah was buried 47 years ago on the day her 6th generation grandson, Gary Thomas Fitzmaurice was born. James came to Michigan to visit and to meet his grandkids for the first time in the early 60's. He stayed with us at the cottage at Point Look-out, AuGres, MI. Howard (Tommie), looked a little like his dad only quite a bit taller. On 13 Oct. 1937 James signed for his Social Security Application. He was living at 626 Main St., Sausalito, Calif. He was working for A. W. Teatbar, 406 Gazaneau Ave., Sausalito, California. Our dad was 15 yrs. old. Sarah died, Howard her son thought, when he was about 4 years old but he was only 2 and a half years old. Dad said she was "six feet tall." Sarah was 30 years old when she died of TB in her home in McHalta, Red Barn, TN. Howard, Sarah's son was married to his bride Alice, 22 Jun 1946, twenty years later on the day Sarah had died.
