Dear List, I am researching my grandfather and his family. I have very little to go on so here it is: CAMPBELL LAVERNE HIGGINS (gf)- B. Soddy-daisy, TN, 3/16/1886. D. Herrin, IL, 4/17/1928.(Williamson Cty.) Parents of C.L.Higgins: Mr & Mrs JAMES HIGGINS. Siblings of C.L.Higgins: FRED HIGGINS (one dau.-MRS. ROY WREN) JOHN HIGGINS MRS. WILL WINTERS MRS. ED RICKETTS MRS. CLINT RICKETT MABEL HIGGINS MRS. BRADFORD ROTH, N.Y. This info was obtained from two obituaries, one in the local paper in So. IL, and one from a paper in Soddy-daisy, TN. Other than stating he was employed at Madison #9 coalmine and that he was a member of Herrin's Prairie Post VFW and served in Company M, 68th Infantry as a drill sargent I know nothing.
