Dear Friends, The world lost a true genealogist, but more importantly, a true friend and helper to us all. On July 3, 1998, Jackie McClanahan (jackie_mack@prodigy.com) passed away, after a long battle with cancer. As many of you are aware, Jackie LIVED & BREATHED genealogy. She also LOVED HELPING OTHERS, even if it kept her from having the time to do her own research. She has helped with the Polk & Bradley County sites forever, and was always willing to do whatever she could to assist new researchers.
