I know my Long was in Bradley county on the 1840 census and Polk county for 1850. Emily, Thanks for the list of property owners. Now I know that George was there by 1837. I knew he was on the 1840 census and on the 1850 he was in Polk county. Don't know rather or not he died there. George Long married Sarah Slover and his son Thomas married Minerva (Mary Jane) Tomlin in McMinn county, or we think that is where they married. Everyone take care and have a nice weekend. Roberta.
