Hi Emily, Thanks for answering my post. I forgot to check my history book yesterday before going to the library or I would have known Bradley county wasn't formed yet. I was just surprised that there was nothing for Indian lands. The family I am researching is George And Sarah Long. I know they were in Bradley county in 1840 but I don't know when they arrived there from SC. Barb, thanks for writing and it looks like we are going to find out the answers together. By the way I live in Colorado and have never been luckie enough to visit Tennessee.Would like to make that a vacation sometime.Take care and thanks for trying to help.
