Looking for information on PESTERFIELD family that donated land for Shady Grove Presbyterian Church in Blount County and were found in several counties in and around Blount. Wondering if there is a burial ground on this site. If anyone has any information on the church, the PESTERFIELDs, or the burial ground, please contact me. I am trying to tie my James PESTERFIELD to this line. My James was born in TN in 1802, m. Delhi Twp, Hamilton Co, OH in 1835, and lived the balance of his life in Mason Co, IL.
