    2. WIDOW'S DECLARATION FOR PENSION OR INCREASE OF PENSION. State of Tenn., County of Knox, ss: ON THIS 4 day of Nov, A. D. one thousand eight hundred and ninety six, personally appeared before me, C. G. WAYLAND a Notary Public within and for the County and State aforesaid, MARGARET WEBB, aged 58 years, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain the Pension provided by Acts of Congress granting pension to widows: That she is the widow of BENJAMIN WEBB, who enl under the name of BENJAMIN WEBB on the 15 day of Aug, A. D. 1862 in Co. B. 2" Tenn Cav in the war of Rebellion, who died of disease contracted in the service on the 12" day of Oct., A. D., 1896, that she was married under the name of MARGARET BRYANT to said BENJAMIN WEBB, on the (blank) day of (unclear) A. D. 1866, by Squire SNYDER, in Blount Co. Tenn. there being no legal barrier to such marriage; that neither she nor her husband had been previously married; that she has to present date remained his widow; that the following are the names and dates of birth of all his legitimate children yet surviving who were under sixteen years of age at father's death, viz: no children; that she has no abandoned the support of any one of her children, but that they are still under her care or maintenance; that she has not in any manner engaged in, or aided or abetted, the rebellion in the United States: that no prior application has been filed by her. Soldier was a pensioner by Cert. 430.901; that she hereby appoints, with full power of substitution and revocation, A. C. MACNULTY, of Knoxville, Tenn., her attorner, to prosecute the above claim; and her Post Office address is Shooks, Tenn. MARGARET (X her mark)WEBB Z. J.
