Hi, Thanks for answering my quiery. The reason I posted it is that I am researching the Cox line in Blount County. No one has ever been able to find the wife of Henry Cox. I'll give a hopefully brief overview: Henry Cox/Cocke b. VA mid 1700's m. wife #1 ____ CURD abt 1762 Henrico Co or Charlotte Co. VA. They had a son CURD COX b. 1762 Charlotte Co.,VA. We think the mother may of died either in childbirth or very soon after for Curd when interviewed could not remember anything about his mother. Henry Cox/Cocke wife #2 Ann Madison 1773 Charlotte Co.VA. They migrated to Blount County in the early 1790's. I am inquiring about Charles because he was mentioned in the probate thinking he may of been related to the first wife of Henry Cox/Cocke. You can get a copy from our web page at http://www.coxcousins.freeservers.com just cut and paste or download it. >From you decendency chart there is also mentioned Patsy Cox. Do you know what line she is of? I am wondering if she is possibly connected to Henry. ............. 5 Rebecca McCoun 1822 ................. +Robert Slaughter Curd ......... 4 Thomas Curd 1796 d: 1878 ............. +Patsy Cox ......... 4 Lucy Brent Curd 1798 d: 1813 killed by lightning ......... 4 William Curd 1800 Do you know if your John CURD is connected to Edward CURD of Henrico?
