GENERAL AFFIDAVIT State of Tennessee, County of Blount In the matter of BENJAMIN WEBB late a Private in Co B of the 2d Reg't. of Tenn Cavy Vols., for Orig Inv Pension. On this the first day of November A. D., 1887, personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace in and for the aforesaid County, duly authorized to administer oaths BENJAMIN WEBB aged 43 years, a resident of Tuckaleechee in the County of Blount and Statae of Tenn whose Postoffice address is as above and well known to me to be reputable and entitled to credit, and who, being duly sworn, declared in relation to aforesaid case as follows: "That I am unable to furnish medical testimony as to continnance since discharge for the reason that I have received no treatment from any physician, having used patent medicines. That I am also unable to furnish the testimony of a surgeon as to treatment in the service for the reason that the only one who treated me Surgeon J. W. MAYS is dead." State of Tennessee, County of Blount, ss: Sworn to and subscribed before me this day by the above-named affiant, and I certify that I read said affidavit to said affiant, including all the words erased, and all the words added and acquainted him with its contents before he executed the same. I further certify that I am in nowise interested in said case, nor am I concerned in its prosecution; anad that said affiant is personally known to me, and that he is a creditable person. J. N.
