I am a descendant of Oliver ALEXANDER and Mary CRAIG. Oliver was born in the 1730s or 40s (there is conflicting information on this). He served in the Revolutionary War and was also married to Margaret PAUL. Oliver is buried 4 miles south of Columbia, Tennessee in Brown Cemetery. Does anyone know about this cemetery? I want to go there to find his grave site sometime soon. I am looking for information on one of Oliver's and Mary's grandsons, Jesse Rankin ALEXANDER. He was born in 1815 in Blount County, TN and married Mary E. SMITH, who was born in 1821 and was from North Carolina originally. Jesse and Mary were married in Maury County or Haywood County, TN. I know about their children, but I need information on who Mary E. SMITH's parents were. Does anyone know? Thank you. Ima J. Stephens
