William W. Craig and Esther Montgomery are my husband's ancestors. Wm W. Craig was born ca 1785 in what became Greene Co., Tn to James Craig II and Susan...he died ca 1844 in Gibson Co., Tn. He married Esther Montgomery 5 Jul 1802 in Blount Co., Tn. Esther was daughter of James Montgomery and Margaret Weir. She was born ca 1784 and died 1846 in Gibson Co., Tn. The children I have for them are: James M. Craig b. 1812, Esther D. (Easter) Craig Bowen (my husband's line) b. 1815; Wm. H. Craig b. 1817 and an unknown female born ca 1820-1825 who was in the 1840 census.
