Hi Betsy, Please check the 1860 census for any WHITE families. My great grandmother was MARY ELIZABETH WHITE born 28 Nov 1854. She had a younger brother DREW and there were other children. They should also be in the 1870 Census. I would be very grateful for the information on the WHITE families. Their parents were JOEL MADISON WHITE born in 1828 and ROSANNA GORDON born in 1836. Both Joel and Rosanna died in 1883 and I have not been able to find the parents of either of them. Would you please check for GORDON family in both Census. Thanks so very much.
