I have read on the Benton County website that the Alsups settled in the BIG SANDY AREA of Benton County so I am assuming that my great grandpatents lived nearby. I have checked and apparently Benton County was part of Humphreys County, then Montgomery County, and before that Stewart County. BUT, what counties was the BIG SANDY area in previous to Benton?
