I am certainly no expert on Rushing but have paper sent to me. -David Donahue--- They say Able Rushing and Sarah Jane Herrin had a daughter Sarah Ann Rushing born 17 June 1829 died 19 Feb. 18i63 with Burial in Rushing Creek Cemetery Benton Co. This paper says whe married Elias B. Boyd in Henry Co., 1855 He was a Minister. It goes on to speak of a William R. Rushjing son of Robert born before 1794 who married Elizabreth Ward. They had a daughter Sarah Ann who married William Amer. It also says " There has been errorsor dispute over this father for Sarah Ann. . Jonathan K. T. Smith states Able Rushing is her father . History of Southeast Mo. by Goodspeed publishing Co Pg 954 states otherwise, that it is William R. Rushing and Elizabeth Ward. Mary Harkey Russell bird@scrtc.com
