>From the Benton County Webpage: Company I of the 49th Tennessee Infantry Regiment: Alonzo Napier Captain "Mira" Nunnery First Lieutenant Henry Roberson Second Lieutenant H. K. Camp Third Lieutenant A.H. Mitchell Orderly Sergeant Is Mira Nunnery the same man as Nehemiah Nunnery? I feel like I've come full circle. For two years I tried to connect my Narsissus Nunnery ("Sis") to the Benton County Nunnerys. I knew that there were at least two Narcissus(es?) in their family. I finally found my Narsissus in Pemiscot County, MO in 1870. Here is her family: NUNNERY, Mariah (or Maniah? or Manish? or Miah?) M? F? age 32 b. TN NUNNERY, Lucy A. F age 33 b. TN NUNNERY, Narcissis F age 17 b. TN NUNNERY, John M M age 12 b. TN NUNNERY, Parmelia F age 10 b. TN NUNNERY, Rachel F age 9 b. TN NUNNERY, Victory F age 7 b. TN Next household is: NUNNERY, William M age 21 b. TN NUNNERY, Annie F age 17 b. TN Narsissus Nunnery married Robert B. Funderburk. In 1880, they had a 4-yr-old son with the same mysterious name as the head of household in 1870. It looks like it may be Miah or Mirah. Does anyone know where Nehemiah disappeared to after the War? Thanks for any help. Karla Butler Everett
