    3. It was announced today that Rootsweb has merged with Ancestry. You can read about this at http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/merge.html I ask that you do not use the list to discuss this .I thought you needed to hear it from the listowner. I trust Rootsweb to keep their word that nothing will change and that doing genealogy will remain free . Rootsweb has a help desk at : http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/help.cgi if you have questions or problems with this announcement. I'm going to wait and see and trust.
