VA for January 1781 for recruiting this state's quota of troops to serve in the continental army. I am also getting a feel for the first time for a pattern of migration. I was following Elliotts and Longs. Would greatly appreciate info these Benton-Henry county families. I also saw some Elliotts in MD with William Langley who lived in early Benton Co. and changed his name to William Hall - who is the person that I am supposed to find.
