    3. Virgie, I found two John Elmore's in the Benton County Tennessee Cemetary Listings: 1. John (Ned) Elmore b 1820 died after 1880. Was married at least twice, one wife was Eliza ??? (may have been the first wife) and the second may have been Caroline Baswell. A daughter by each of these ladies are buried adjacent to John (Ned). The Cemetary name for these folks is missing in my book and I cannot find the corrected sheets. 2. John Elmore b 12-1-1882 d 5-14-1972. His wife appears to have been Fannie ??? b 1-21-1884 d 3-29-1979. This couple is buried in the Camden City Cemetary according to the Listings. Hope this is of some value to you. Let me know if you have additional questions or if I can be of further assistance to you. Regards, Ed in Brentwood, Tennessee perry curvey wrote: > Hi Ed, My grgrgrandfather lived in Benton Co. 3. Virgie, I have no information on a John Elmore, but the son you are talking about probably is John Edward Elmore born in 1849 and died in 1938. He married Eliza Jane Ogles on 12 October 1871, who was born in 1853 and died in 1937. E.J. Sims perry curvey wrote: > Hi Ed, My grgrgrandfather lived in Benton Co. 3. I have a copy of the Cemetery Listings for Benton County. Holladay Cemetery (both Upper and Lower) are listed with transcriptions. I would be glad to do lookups for those and any others as I find time.
