In the story of Horse Mountain, I am very interested in Mr. William Arnold and Mr. Elijah Arnold. My ggggrandfather was John Arnold (b. 1780 in Virginia) who married Anna (possibly Arnold) b. 1779 in Maryland. There is some speculation that Anna was also an Arnold and that William and Elijah were related to her. I have no ancestors for John Arnold either. John and Anna are in Coffee County by the 1840 census. One of their daughters, Lenora who is my ggrandmother, was married in Bedford County. I was hoping that someone might have some concrete proof of any connection of William or Elijah to John or Anna.
