    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: Alisax Surnames: SANDERS Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.tennessee.counties.bedford/1427/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am finally back to doing a bit more researching on my SANDERS line from Bedford Co, TN and I need a teensy bit of help from you other researchers. >From 2 sources, I have been told that my SANDERS folks - namely John Sanders, Sr. & wife, Susannah Wheeler Sanders (1775 - 1842), and child John Sanders, Jr.(1797 - 1841) & wife Mary, are buried at Pisgah Cemetery in Bedford Co., TN. My cousin, Harry Sanders, is going to be in the Bedford Co, TN area within the next month and he has volunteered to go to this cemetery and take photos of headstones (if they exist) for me. So some questions. 1. Where is this Pisgah cemetery? 2. Are there markers for the 4 people above? 3. If no markers, how do others "know" that the 4 above are buried there? I thank you all in advance for any help on the above! Best wishes, Allison Saxman alisax@commspeed.net My line is from John Sanders, Jr.'s line - his son Isaac Henry Sanders (1823 - 1908) buried in Friendship Cemetery; Columbus, Lowndes County, MS, lived in Fayette Co. & Lamar Co., AL, served in the 26th AL Inf. CSA, moved to Lowndes Co., MS after the Civil War - if anyone connects with him, please let me know! We are gathering photos and other stuff on his line. Just recently documented that Isaac's great-grandson is the famous baseball player from the 30's and 40's - Terry Bluford Moore, from Lamar Co., AL. If you want more details on this documentation, I can provide them. Thanks again. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
