Mary Lou, I found what I believe is your Emma/Emily/Emeline Meadows on the 1900 census living with George W Meadows (the person reporting her death) in the Indian Territory, Chickasaw Oklahoma. On the census she states that her father is from North Carolina. Is it possible that the death certificate is erroneous in stating that her father is from Tennessee? I did find a John and Annie Darnell in the census that are from North Carolina living in Tennessee, also. I understand what Kent is saying but if you notice the beginning of each word has a formation like the T. In other words they all have a blocky sort of formation. Don't know if this helps.
