    3. Melanie, I put photographs of Rutherford County Cemeteries online. If you do go and get stones, I would gladly put in on our Rutherford Site. I have about 20 I am trying to get online right now, but I am always looking for more. The Stem cemetery is an example of why my photographers and I do this. So our ancestors won't continue to disappear. They will at least have a virtual marker of their graves. 3. Great idea Teresa! I'm thinking some folks came and cleaned up this cemetery back in the late '70's or early '80's. I'd like to find photos from then and/or from even earlier times. I've found letters in my moms things from a lady in CO. sent to my mother that did come here to help clean it up. Her mother was an Adkinson. Its on private property now and I've heard cows got in there once and it was on the news. I didn't know all that. But when I do "a drive by" its just grown up and pitiful looking. Can't tell its a cemetery. I think chain saws would need to be involved..... 3. LaVerne, Can you give me a little more information? Mangrum is my husband's line and it's spelt both Mangrum and Mangum in the old records. 3. Hi Betty, I've not run into any Pylants yet. The Phelps' I married into are from TX. They went back and forth from TX to TN alot. They lived up on Chestnut Ridge. He married a Powell, who leads into Warren and Bartlets and others. This leads into Moore and Lincoln Counties. Very interesting but LOTS of family branches to "cover".
