Steve, is it possible to find copies of marriage certificates in Tn. around 1845/46? If I could find one between James Meadows and Emiline Cumi ???Darnell/Damron???I would hope it would give the name of James' father. Not sure if they were married in Bedford County or maybe nearby. Also, do you have any records of a James Meadows who died in 1880 in Bedford County and where he might be buried????
