Jackie, I have a John A. Moore, b. 1817 d. 1884-1885; married to Sophia Price Blanton in 1836. This John was son of Henry and Parthenia Moore. I don't think this is yours since he's only a child in 1820's, but thought I'd let you decide if you wanted more info or not. He does have a daughter, Nancy born in 1845 who married James W. Blanton; they adopted children and lived in TX.
