By the time of their births, the family had moved from Bedford County TN to Jefferson County IL. Moses Williams (probably born abt. 1800) was their grandfather. Your family appears to date before mine. However, in my research I noticed that generations have gotten mixed and parentage confused between James Jackson Williams and his father, Moses Williams. Moses' son, James Jackson Williams, had at least 12 children, some of which I've found listed as belonging to Moses. If you would like to compare line-for-line, I will be happy to help.
