I do not know where the Reeves came from, but my husband's Sanders ancestors lived in that same general area, had some association with the Reeves, and they were from Greenville Co, SC. They had lived previously in NC and in VA. There are a few old maps, but the rivers and the creeks (almost all) are the same now as they were then. A current map of Bedford Co is available from the Bedford Co Chamber of Commerce, I think.
