Excel literacy is not my strong suit, but will you please forward a copy of your Index to the Shelbyville Times-Gazette. If this doesn't work, as requested from you for prior info, do you have listings for Haile and Dunaway families. It is titled: A Pictorial History of Bedford County, Shelbyville, Tennessee. As the title reflects, the book contains some great photographs, from as early as 1833 (I have doubts about this date as I believe photography was not invented until sometime in the 1840s) through current-day. Sadly, the book was not indexed and there are LOTS of family names. Since, I felt like I kept going over and over the same territory, I decided to index the publication. For any of you interested in the index, I will be happy to share the index with you (or will do a lookup for you). In order for me to send the index to you (electronically), you will need to be able to read an Excel file. It is 31 pages longs (8 pitch font). I do not know if the publication is still available. If you are interested in this book, you may want to contact the Shelbyville Times-Gazette. Or, perhaps folks who live in the Bedford County area, can tell us if the book is still available???? Hope this helps someone. Maybe some of the folks on this list are the owner of the original photograph(s)???
