Im interested in making contact with anyone that might be researching these Hall and related families of early Bedford Co. Tn. that were mentioned in Steve Carsons July 24, 2005 posts in regards to early Surveys and Land Deeds for Hall's in the area of Caney Spring Creek in Bedford Co. Tenn. Some of the first Land records for these Hall's in Bedford Co. was the Dec. 1813 Deed from Ezekiel Billington of Bedford Co. to David and James Hall of Sumner Co. Tn. for 238 Acres on the North side of Duck River. Dec. 1812 - D - 334 - Patton & Erwin of Buncombe, N.C. to Fergus Hall of Sumner Co. Tenn. 450 acres on the South Fork of Duck River. It is appearent from these two deeds that there may have been a connection between these three Hall's, sense they had all been in Sumner Co. Tn. before arriving in Bedford Co. There are several other surnames in Bedford Co. that were associated with the Hall's that were also found on early Sumner Co. Tax records, James Bruce family, Mathew Alexander family, the Reed family, Crawfords, Peter Lemmons, Alsup's, McCarty's, etc I would love to know what the connection is, if anyone out there has any ideas please do share your thoughts with me on this, and any other issue concerning the Hall's and related surnames of early Bedford Co. Tenn. Pat
