    1. [TNBEDFOR] Re: Coleman? and records I have
    2. HI Barbara, No, I do not have Coleman's in my family tree, but I have Bedford County Records on file <grin>. I am actually from Bell Buckle, but worked in Shelbyville for years. Now I live and work in Rutherford County. I have been researching my family for 9 years. Since I got so involved with it, I bought a micro film viewer, and now I do a lot of searches from home, and the internet <grin> (what time I am not cooking, cleaning, and working 12 hour shifts in a factory.... My family always knows what I want for Birthdays, Christmas, Anniversary's.. I keep a list of "MICRO FILM WANTED BAD" on the side of the refridgerator. Ohhhhh and I have a daughter getting married in two weeks (in a Church Wedding... I don't know why she didn't elope... don't people still do that?) Before I get to bogged down with look up request, just which Coleman are you looking for? I think I should offer one look up at a time with my records. We could have a day a week I would offer to do all the "last names" with a paticular record. I have on file marriages of Bedford 186ish to 1900. 1850 census index and actual Census 1870 census index and actual Census 1880 census index and actual Census 1900 census partial index 1910 census (if you know the district) 1920 census (if you know the district) Loose Leaf wills 1847 through 1912 (I have some of these on file). I also have an index that goes to 1981. (I have just found the estate records at the Shelbyville Archives that tie in with these wills... They are not on micro film, and I don't know when I am going to have time to index them) I have Shelbyville Gazette Obits 1931 - 1936 that Charles Reeves will be posting to the Bedford Page soon... (just as soon as I send them) I have Bedford County Death Index records 1924 to 1936 (Charles Reeves is going to get on line soon) Last year at the archives in Shelbyville I copied an idex page to "DELAYED BIRTHS". I have found some of my family in these 4 boxes. (I only have 3 of them on file.. and did not put the parents names, but can do look ups when I go to the Shelbyville archive every other Wed) I have Rutherford County marriages in a data base1804 to 1851 then 1873 to 1907 (a lot of people in Bedford got married in Rutherford. But then the court house in Bedford kept getting destroyed.. so they had to go somewhere during those time frames) Hope this help some with know what I have. Later, Marty
