Marty, I wonder if a will exists among the loose wills for William SHARP. According to the 1850 Bedford Co. TN census, William Sharp, age 59, b. VA, was living with his wife, Sarah S. [Hancock] Sharp, age 51, b. NC, and a 15-year-old daughter, Ritter, who later married James M. Hoover of Coffee County. Possibly there were offspring that I have not been able to identify, but William's children not living in that household in 1850 included William H. Sharp, Robert Martin Sharp (m. Louisa Jacobs of Coffee County TN), Elizabeth Sharp (m. John Bell), and John Thomas Sharp. Although I know that William and Sarah were in Bedford County in 1850, they seem to have disappeared by 1860. So far I have not been able to determine whether they moved away or died in Bedford County. Roberta
