    2. I try to remember so many histories I sometimes stick my foot in my mouth for accuracy. The info I was retlaing is in Good Speeds History of Beford County. Jacob Wilhoite, b. 1751 started the German Mill as the first Grain Mill in the county. I believe there is a date mentioned or implied there. I was thinking it was 1807 but might have been a few years later as you say. Wayne Austin

    3. I have the same problem! Can't remember it all. It is so interesting and I appreciate all who have gone before me. My daddy loved his family; he loved knowing where they were from, but mostly liked knowing what kind of people they were. He started researching in 1930, the year I was born. He instilled that love in me and, also, in my children, especially my sons. He was doing genealogy, before he knew the word. I home school two of my grandsons. I just do their grammar and their writing and some speech, too. Have to go. Twelve year old Ben is here.
