We have completed proofreading and expanding the Index to the Bedford County, Tennessee, Circuit Court Minutes 1859 - 1860, approximately doubling its size because we went into the minutes themselves to extract list of names only recorded as "et al." in the index. Charles Reeves has posted this update to: http://www.tngenweb.org/bedford/Circuit_minutes/CCC_Index.htm In addition, the index to that volume also contains the index to the first 100 pages or so of the next volume (Aug 1859 - Aug 1860), so we have moved that part of the index into the next volume index and merged it in and it is now posted also. (The clerk continued the index to the "1859 - 1860" volume to the end of the court term even after the minutes themselves had run over into the next book, "Aug 1859 - Aug 1860".) We are working on indices to County Court Records now, finishing up, Volume B, 5 March 1866 - 12 May 1869. There is only a partial index posted right now to the A's and some of the C's in this volume. It will take several more weeks to complete this index. Once this is finished, all the indices to County Court minutes from the earliest surviving volume that starts on 2 October 1848 up to 12 May 1869 will have been transcribed and posted. Steve
