Burial was in Horse Mountain Cemetery. Mrs. Bragg, who had apparently been in good health, suffered a heart attack Thursday evening that resulted in her death. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville and a woman of many fine traits of character. Bragg, 66 Dies Suddenly Funeral services for J.L. Bragg, 66, who died suddenly at his home here Tuesday a.m. at 10:30 o'clock were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at a funeral home in Murfreesboro. Rev. E.J. Barnett, pastor of the First Christian Church officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro. Mr. Bragg was a salesman for the Murfreesboro Marble and Granite Works. Before moving to Shelbyville three years ago he resided in Murfreesboro and was a manager of the Marble Works. He was a native of Cannon County. He had been in declining health for several years. Surviving besides his widow, are one daughter, Mrs Bill Stanton, Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, W.J. Bragg of Woodbury and R.B. Bragg of Christiana, three sisters, Mrs. Robert Harris, Kittrell, Mrs. Ervin Ready, Milton, and Mrs. C.L. McNabb, Deason.
