    1. [TNBEDFOR] 1840's Nobletts
    2. Hello Noblett Family Researchers: Subject: Is anyone familiar with any NOBLETT Family members in Bedford County before 1850? If so, have you heard of a female with the unusual given name of Haskey? Her relationship with the NOBLETTS is a mystery! She lived in Bedford County before 1850 and after that in both Pope and Yell Counties, AR. Questions: Did Haskey marry an NOBLETT between 1844 and 1850? And if so, who and where did it happen, TN or AR? Background: This lady married and had three children with William H. STEWART in Bedford County, TN before 1844. Evidently, he died and she showed up with four children in the 1850 Pope County, AR census. They were living in the Sampson NEASE household but the strange thing is she and all four children were recorded as NOBLETTS. Later research revealed that Mrs. Sampson NEASE was Haskey's mother-in-law by her STEWART marriage. Also three of the four children were STEWARTS. The youngest son, John, was only two months old in 1850 and could have been a NOBLETT but he did not retain that name. As an adult, John used the name of McDANIEL. In Yell County, AR his mother married a CRANE in 1851 and about twenty years later a TALBOTT, which don't help explain why John ended up as a McDANIEL Ron Adams Neighbor to Historical Fort Atkinson that overlooks the Missouri River Valley from Nebraska.
