If you ordered a copy of the Bedford County Family History Book, it now appears that it will be mailed to you by Dec. 31st. If you are picking it up in Shelbyville, we hope to be able to give you a place and time to pick it up on Dec. 15th. I will get back to you with complete information as soon as we know. There will also be announcements in the newspaper and on the radio. The book was originally advertised as 200 to 300 pages. It is going to exceed 500 pages. There is an excellent possibility that it will have an EVERYNAME INDEX. The Historical Society has ordered some extra copies and these will be available for sale in Shelbyville on the pick-up day for $60.00. It is possible the price will be increased after that day.
