Mary Pat, I'd love to know where that ferry is at Cairo, IL. I grew up there and still go there frequently. I know there is a bridge that crosses the Mississippi into Missouri and another bridge that crosses the Ohio River into Kentucky. There is even a park where you can see the point at which the two rivers swirl together, but I've never seen a ferry there. The closest one I can think of is down river at Helena, Arkansas. Shirley My husband said that it was farther north on the Ohio River. He is going to look at a map and try find where it was that we crossed. So, I'll get back to you.
