Just wanted everyone to know that you should be prepared for a delay in receiving NARA records. I mailed a request for Civil War records on January 6, 2002. I recently received a post card saying that "We regret the delay in processing your order but it has only now (March 4) been delivered by the USPS. All incoming mail for the NARA facilities in Washington, DC was handled by the USPS Brentwood facility, which was closed by the USPS in October in the wake of anthrax contamination".
