Muse, born ca 1820 in Bedford County, TN. His parents were Rev. John Tyler Muse (1791-1850) and Rachel Hartsfield. Rev. John Tyler Muse was the pastor at Missionary Baptist Church in Bedford County. James H. Muse was living in Branchville in Bedford County during the 1880's. Several of his sons moved to Obion County during the 1880's. I am trying to find when James H. Muse died and where he was buried. I am also interested in finding a history of Missionary Baptist Church if possible. Any help, suggestions will be appreciated.
There are two MUSE men mentioned in the Goodspeed History of Bedford County. Check to see if there is a connection by going to the Bedford County Site at: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~khopkins/GdspdBiosIndex.html#M Hope this helps some. You may check Obion County to see if they have a Goodspeed's info area.
