    1. Re: [TNBEDFOR] Flat Creek
    2. There is a Flat Creek community in Bedford Co and another, different, Flat Creek community in Williamson Co, TN, as some other people have already said. According to deeds, some people who were living in Bedford Co about 1812 had previously lived in the same place, but been in Williamson County (I have seen reference to the names Byler and Lamb--there were others). The Williamson Co line joined the Bedford Co line about 1/4 of the northern boundary until the people in the Eagleville area got mad at Williamson Co because the county would not build them a farm-to-market road, Rutherford Co built the road and a large area became Rutherford, so that Bedford and Williamson no longer have a common boundary. I cannot remember the date when that happened. About 1850 comes to mind, but might be incorrect. But they are mentioning Williamson Co. TN. and I thought Flat Creek was in Bedford Co. Can someone tell me, please, is there a Flat Creek in Williamson Co also? It's an interesting book, but I'm confused about the geography. Thanks and Peace. Barb in FL
