Williamson was formed in 1799 from Davidson. Wilson was formed in 1799 from Sumner, which was formed in 1786 from Davidson Co. So they all have their roots in Davidson County, and the portion of Bedford that was formed from Rutherford was possibly part of or close by to that portion taken from Williamson to form Rutherford.
