He was 87. Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Gowin-Smith Chapel with Richard Poplin officiating. Burial will be in Willow Mount Cemetery. One of the founders of the Tennessee Walking Horse Nat'l Celebration, Mr. Haynes was a member of First Christian Church. He was a native of Tennessee, son of the late Jehu and Maggie Dennis Haynes. Survivors include a son Buddy Haynes of Shelbyville (he died 1995 and married a Virginia Knox), a daughter Mrs. Bill (Betty) Reed of Midland, Tx.,five grandchildren and one great grand child. **************************** As you see no wife is named, thus my search for her.
