My g. grandmother Sarah Leftwich Higgins goes back through her mother Francis Hopkins STONE, d/o Micajah STONE Jr. & Sarah Leftwich>> Littleberry LEFTWICH. Littleberry was born 1757 in Bedford Co, VA not TN. His father Augustine LEFTWICH 1712 Caroline Co, VA and died there 1795 married to Mary NORTH. They had issue of 12 and Littleberry the only one listed as where ( Bedford Co, VA 1757-1823 ). Littleberry married, 1778 Bedford Co, Francis Hopkins and they has issue of 7. Of which, Mary Polly married John Reece, Eglantine married Rev James Cole ( Primitive Baptist Church, Belleville TN ), and Sarah married Micajah Stone Jr. At this point we get to Lincoln Co, Tn as they both died there. The Stone line was from Bedford Co, VA and First I find to Lincoln was Micajah STONE Jr. His father , Micajah Sr. also came from Caroline Co, VA to Bedford. Micajah STONE Jr. m. 1801 Sarah LEFTWICH and had issue of 12. Francis " Fannie " Hopkins Stone married Owen W. Higgins 1824 in LCT and thus one of their 8 was ultimately my g. grandmother, m. to D. B. SHULL. G. G. Fannie's brother Littleberry Leftwich STONE was father of James Drake STONE that married Susie SHULL, d/o D. B. SHULL and Julia Ann Davis, his 1st wife. I tried to find the LEFTWICH those folks were looking for but there is a passel of them out there. If they are interested, I could run a descendant Report and then just maybe, who knows.
